At long last we are proud to announce the second solo album from Jeffrey Novak. While best known for his music with his band Cheap Time, his solo work is very much a different beast. Leaving behind the guitar driven, punk influences of his primary band in favor of keyboards and strings. Flashes of Ray Davies, Kevin Ayers and Harry Nilsson abound. Baron In The Trees is also noteworthy for being one of the last projects the late Jay Reatard worked on (he recorded, produced and plays on the album). Limited edition vinyl-only.
