Talbot Adams

Over the past few years, Talbot Adams has established himself as a solo artist. Prior to venturing out on his own, Adams worked primarily as a bassist, playing in The Royal Pendletons, The Darkest Hours (with Peg O'Neill and Matt Uhlman), Preacher's Kids, Jenny Jeans, Dutch Masters (with Eric Oblivian and Scott Rodgers), The Checkmates, and The Black and Whites (which he founded). It was with the Black and Whites that Talbot asserted himself as a guitarist and vocalist, releasing a single on Jay Reatard and Alix Brown's Shattered Records. 
After a well-received solo single on DMR, Spacecase Records hit up Talbot for a single. He quickly formed a group and played two shows at Gonerfest 10—with his new band earlier in the day and backing Jeffrey Evans on bass in CC Riders later that evening. Talbot Adams' Self-titled album is his first solo full length. He currently lives in Oxford, Mississippi.
